  • When should I consider calling an electrician?

    Any time your dealing with anything that uses 110 volt power as this can be dangerous.

  • Why would I need a new electrical circuit?

    If a circuit in your panel keeps tripping a fuse it is not a bigger panel that your need it is a extra circuit that needs to installed on a separate breaker that will solve this problem. Also if you are adding new lights or outlets this may be necessary.

  • What do I do if my circuit keeps overloading?

    Identify what that circuit is feeding in total and break it up by adding another circuit.

  • I have too many power strips behind my entertainment center and want to reduce the clutter. How can N Electric help me?

  • Do you install ceiling fans?

    Of course we do.

  • Can you change an existing switch to a dimmer switch?

    You bet.

  • Why is a breaker in my panel feel hot to touch?

    That breaker may not be working properly or needs to be tightened bad or loose connections make heat.

  • How can I tell when an electrical outlet is not safe or needs to be replaced?

    Part of it can be broken. The plug comes out to easily when pulled on not a tight connection. Outlet is not grounded. Maybe you also have an regular outlet where you should have a Gfi outlet near water or kitchen counter tops.
